Legitimate Online Jobs: Part One

Introduction

In an earlier hub I wrote about online income opportunities you should avoid. In this series of hubs I will discuss and list some true, honest, online jobs from legitimate companies that need content writers, article writers, bloggers, and more.

My friend Brett writes for several of these companies and receives payments on a regular basis. He is actually earning a full time living with his online writing jobs. My goal is to reach the same success as Brett, and I know it requires actual work.

So, without further delay, here is my list of companies you can apply to for writing jobs, review jobs, and something called a guide. This will be my first “Legitimate Online Jobs” hub in a series that I will be posting.

Sponsored Reviews

Write honest reviews about advertiser's services and products and you can get paid $5 or more per post. Note: Not every post will be accepted. They allow you to use your own writing. They pay every 2 weeks through PayPal. Sponsored Reviews also has an affiliate program where you can earn even more money.

When you click the link above, scroll to the bottom of Sponsored Reviews’ web page and click on “Bloggers – Get Paid To Blog” to see their requirements.

Yahoo Contributor

Become a Yahoo Contributor and earn an upfront price for your submitted articles upon approval. Your published articles will continue to earn money for you based on the number of page views they receive.

Textbroker

Textbroker.com pays you based on the word count of your article, and based on a grade scale from one to five, with five being the highest. Note: When applying, you must submit a sample of your writing. Make it your best, because this determines your grade and how much you will be paid per word. A grade of five is considered professional level. They have tons of articles to write, so you will never run out of work. Pay amount is posted in advance, so you know how much each assignment pays before you accept it.

About.com

About.com is always seeking good writers and guides. If hired, you are required to complete a two month training session. If you follow their training, you are guaranteed to make at least $675 per month, but most guides earn significantly more.

Families.com

Bloggers can earn $4 per accepted blog at Families.com and there is a 90-day training period. You can also receive quarterly bonuses and annual raises.

Article Content Provider

Earn $10, or more per article, and $100-$200 per month for blog writers. If qualified, you will earn top dollar, and Article Content Provider will keep you busy.

Writers Network

WritersNetwork.com publishes Home and Garden articles, along with other topics including travel, parenting, finance, etc. Pay rate is currently $10 to $25 per published article.

Content Current

ContentCurrent.com needs freelance writers to submit articles online. Pay rate is based on word count. The approval process is quite lengthy, but the pay is better than average.

Dollar Stretcher

Dollar Stretcher needs freelance writers to submit articles based on saving money and frugal living. Submitted articles must be 500 to 700 words or more, and pay is 10¢ per word.

There are many more companies and websites that will hire bloggers, content writers, reviewers, etc. I will continue this series in my next hub and a link to it will be placed here.

I would like for my fellow authors to understand that I am not trying to lure anyone away from HubPages. I love it here and no matter what I do in my online writing career, I plan to write hubs as much as possible. Also, HubPages will be listed when I write my hub on freelance blogging.

Thanks for reading my hub and have a wonderful day.

Yarddog,This is a great hub. A lot of great information. I am definitely going to check out the sites you mention. As for writing hubs, may I recommend a little research on search engine optimization (also known as SEO) to help get more readers to your hubs, etc if you have not already done so. Many hubbers have written about it if you want to look around here. You can also find info on youtube. Good luck. - 6 months ago
